The Orion-Tr Smart 24/12-30A 360W Charger is a professional DC to DC adaptive 3-stage charger with built-in Bluetooth.
For use in dual battery systems in vehicles or on boats where the (smart) alternator and the start battery are used to charge the service battery. The unit can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth and can be remotely controlled via a remote on/off switch and has an engine running detection mechanism.
The Orion Tr-Smart charger can be used in 12V or 24V systems and is suitable for both lead acid and lithium batteries.

Features
The Victron Orion charger is ‘Smart Alternator Compatible’ and in addition can be set to supply power only when the engine is running, thanks to the unique inbuilt engine shutdown detection feature.

Three Stage Charging:
Stage 1 - Bulk or Boost – As much current as possible is delivered in order to rapidly recharge the batteries to about 80%.
Stage 2 - Absorption – When the battery reaches its final charging voltage, known as its absorption voltage the charge allows the current to taper off as the battery nears a full charge.
Stage 3 - Float – At this stage float voltage is applied which is enough to retain a full charge but controlled to prevent overcharging.
